===== Download new moodle release from https://download.moodle.org/releases/latest/ =====

===== Backup (move) moodle directory =====

cd /var/www/html/
mv moodle moodle.backup
</file>

===== extract new mooddle release =====
<file bash>
cd /var/www/html/
tar xzf arch/moodle-latest-401.tgz
</file>

===== restore moodle config file =====
<file bash>
cd /var/www/html/
cp moodle.backup/config.php moodle
</file>

===== login into Moodle with admin account and upgrade database =====
  * Chrome https://moodle.sebeka.k12.mn.us/
  * Navigate to Site administration > General > Notifications
