Remote Syslog
rsyslog (Ubuntu 12.04)
- /etc/rsyslog.d/50-default.conf
... *.* @<HOSTNAME/IP> ...
syslog (FreeBSD)
- /etc/syslog.conf
... *.* @<HOSTNAME/IP> ...
syslog (Windows)
- Install Event Log to SysLog
- Start Configurator for el2sl
- Enable all the log sources (yes there are a lot)
- Enter the hostname or the IP of the syslog target, port 512 (the default) should be fine
